Program Overview

The Joy of Living Club provides a nurturing environment to support your emotional and mental well-being. Our psychogeriatric program will help you manage psychiatric disorders, stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges you might be facing.

  • Access professional counseling to help navigate life’s changes and challenges
  • Provider will diagnose and treat our clients
  • Collaboration with clients’ physicians will be made based on results and changes in care

Our Schedule

Check out our schedule to see the daily activities that take place at the Joy of Living Club!
  • Functional Classes are given every hour of the day during the 5 days
    • 9 am-10 am
    • 10 am-11 am
    • 11 am-12 pm
    • 12 pm-1 pm
    • 2 pm-3 pm
    • 3 pm-4 pm
  • Each day of the week will be focused on something in particular to help the elderly
    • Monday: Upper Body Strength
    • Tuesday: Conditioning and Carrying variations
    • Wednesday: Mobility & Active Recovery
    • Thursday: Lower Body Strength
    • Friday: Trunk Stability & Balance

Priscila will be available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

  • 30 mins slots for each client – Total of 6 clients/day maybe more
  • Morning of Reflection 1 day a month for 4 hrs
  • Catholic Mass 1 day a month
  • Bible Classes as organized by members
  • Counseling will be provided by appointments only throughout the day
  • 45 mins slots for each client

 

  • Every day will be a different activity/game social hour
  • Field Trip on the 3rd Wednesday of the month for those who want to participate
  • Monthly Party last Friday of the month
